Bartholomeo Colleoni, Military Model, 1:200

Hi friends,

here are some pictures of my last completed ship:
The Bartholomeo Colleoni, an Italian light cruiser of WWII.

The hull was bit of complicated, too many sections.
I smoothed, sanded and then air brushed it. The portholes were punched. Photo-etched parts are standard.

Hi Chris,
at first sight, I also thought that`s impossible! But I`ve fotos that show that indeed the plane was carried in that way. You had to lay down all ventilators to start the plane!

Nice job, Hans. Very well done gun mounts etc.. I tend to use pictures like this to raise the bar for my own ships....you can always get tips on improving your own builds just by looking! Curious catapult position for the floatplane.

It's a gem. Great work, decrox! Very finely finished. The light aa guns were very well done as were the funnels with their curved trunks. Your Bartholomeo Colleoni is delightful to look at.

Beautiful! Great job on the small details - like your small boats! I hate those things!!!!
