Hi,
Just start my new project battleship "ROMA". I want to share my building with you. There are some tech spec. Class Vittorio Veneto Displacement Standard - 41.650 ton full load - 46.215 ton Length - total m. 240,7 Width - m. 32,9 Armament 9 Cannons 381/50 mm. 12 Cannons 152/55 mm. 12 Cannons 90/50 mm. a.a. 4 Cannons 120/40 mm. for illuminating shooting 20 machine guns 37/54 mm. a.a. 16 machine guns 20/65 mm. a.a. (from 1942 28 machine guns 20/65 mm. on Littorio e Roma - 32 on Vittorio Veneto) 3 aircrafts Model proportions are 120x17x27cm my biggest model ever. I think it will take 1 year. Michal |

Michal -- This is good news! Based on the other superb models you have shown us, this is bound to be a very interesting, entertaining, and educational build over the coming year. The Italian WWII warships were unique and beautiful. I'm delighted to see that you are building some of these historic ships.

Yes Roma is beautiful ship. I think it is good choice. I've done first step today. Spacers aren't part of kit. It is my improvement.

Good start!
I bet the spacers help prevent warpage nicely with a long model like this one.

Michal it is a beautiful ship (when a warship may be called in this way) and a great model. I have seen it in the german forums two times build and it looked lovely. This one is definetly "number one" in my "to-do" list after finishing the other. Be sure that you have earned another reader and watcher of your report! Frank
