1/700 Skipjack

So, here it finally is, a couple of weeks behind schedule, but done. I must say, this is my first water borne subject, and it was enjoyable. But, I still long for the sky. And I would do another, if the right subject were to come along.
My only complaint is with the nose of the submarine. Even in the pictures of the beta, it appears to snubby to me. However, I did not vary from the instructions and built it as designed. Except, of course for the scale.

Thanks to Krzychu74 for this kit!

Ray

Great job, Ray! Nice to see you play with water (and not be a ditching)!

Hello!
It`s surprise for me! Thank you Texman for gluing the model in so small scale. Your model is beautiful!
Probably the next model of submarine will be USS "Casimir Pulaski" (SSBN 633) (Lafayette class):

Sweet, Ray. Maybe you could make your own little nose that is not so stubby... it does not rather like it boinked an ice berg are some such.

That's a nifty little model! Nice building job!!! How big(or small) is that in inches at 1/700 scale?

Well John,

How many days are left? That could have a couple of meanings. The first would be until the end of days, since Ray built something besides an airplane? Or, what I figure might be the better answer, a little more than 30 days now. Need a little more to go on than that. And yes, this is my first naval subject, but I have done a couple of armor pieces as well. Just thought I would see if I can go from up to down and the inbetweens!
