Thanks guys. I appreciate all the interest!

I'm playing with the red parts at the moment. Run into a snag forming the bow below the water line, but I should have that worked out soon. Operator error I'm sure.

Should have some photos soon.

Some Red

Got the hull middle and hull bow attached below the water line. The seam at the bow was very tricky. Many angles going on here in a short space. Had to fidget, form, form and fidget. Glue and hold, hold and glue. You know what I mean.

Going to start the stern section tonight. I have to laminate and cut out the prop funnels first. They have to go in before you can attach the stern section.

More soon.

Hello EIB,
You are probably working on that stern as I write. I commend your work on that tricky bow. Looks like Barry designed a strong frame supporting all that labor.

Some side plating

Thanks Barry. That's a big compelement coming from you.

Yes Michael, it's a wonderful design. The stern was a little trickier than the bow though. I really labored with it a couple days.

I've started one side plate (middle, starboard) to get off and rolling on the side plating. This should go quickly. Edge painting is the biggest time consuming part. Using testors olive drab, testors brown and tamiya deck tan for the various colors on the edges.

Lookin' good so far. I'm going to fall back and put the props and prop shafts in after the side plating...

Looking good I never thought to do the tunnels that way. I cheated and stuck them to the keel plates first yours look really well fitted. got agree about the props as well.
