Then the whole thing was air brushed. As I disliked the red of the underwater hull, I changed it into red brown. Now the hull looked like that.

After closing the hull, some struts of the after deck had to be fitted. As they had different shapes it`s advisable to glue each one immediately after cutting. Next was the boat overhead travelling crane with a lot of triangular reinforcements. Hans Gerd |

The little parts looks awesome. I wonder how many problems my 1993 verison has...

Next in line was a ventilator with a small wood deck platform. More ventilators followed. These parts had a lot of curvatures, which I stabilized with pores filler and then grind. The gratings are cut from a standard photo-etched part.

Then I worked around the base of the 15,5cm turret. The pictures are self explaining.
