The Nagato is superb. I like the 1931 appearance.
Your great photos give me a chance to reveal my ignorance of Japanese naval architecture: what was the purpose of the railing-like devices around the funnels? They seem to be most common on Japanese and Italian warships, although they occasionally appear on the funnels of other ships. Don |
