Hello John,
I admire your skill, to get that kind of detail into the hull. It reminds me of some of the submarine models that display the interior.

Lex: Well, I use the drawings I have of TAMA wich also includes a drawing that shows the inside of the ship, and also I use interior pictures of other warships, and have been in the Navy, I know a little bit about what is happening inside.

That's an excellent drawing, John. Looks very useful for your purposes.

Your build sparked my interest in Tama. I see that his ship spent a lot of time in northern waters - Hokkaido, the Kuriles and Aleutians - in two different Arctic camouflage schemes. For example: File:IJN Tama in 1942.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I would be interested to know what color scheme you plan to finish your Tama in.

On a purely personal note, I like the name "Tama." The ship was named for the river that runs past Yokota, Japan, where I lived for three years. It's a beautiful and historic river valley (and Yokota Air Base was the IJAAF aircraft test facility duirng the war - the Army version of the IJN First Naval Air Technical Arsenal at Yokosuka). Nothing to do with your superb model or the ship you are modeling. Just my mind wandering.
