I hope you will eventually finish this remarkable model. It provides a valuable glimpse of the inside of the ship and its construction. It is also a superb example of model-building.

Hi guys, is it already three years ago I wrote the last sentence in this thread ? Well, I proceeded in the TAMA build. I did some more detailing in the Turbine Engine Room and started to build the bridge structure. I will certainly finish this project. Photographs will follow in a short while, promised !!

John.

Here the first promised pictures of my TAMA project. Did not know the bridge was such much work, but depends, of course, on the magnitude of detail one like to bring in. The Gakken book about TAMA is my guide in detailing, so expect a lot of detail, but that is what I like, to tinker around with these little parts Hope you will enjoy these pictures, as I do building the model. The bridge is not ready by far, windows are not yet glazed and it is partly painted. I am thinking about the Turbine Engine room to do some more little detailing, to make it more realistic.

John.

Very nice but I struggle to see how you could fit more detail. Brilliant build.

I really admire the cutaway showing your interior detail work John.
Its a pleasure to see the interior railing and catwalks.

The bridge looks really good and the interior shot at the end - incredible! Is the whole ship going to be displayed opened like that?
