That last photo - a collage of maritime art -- is great.

Underwater hull

Thanks for stopping and looking yet again.

Decidedly complicated aft hull. It is such a small model I decided to use good quality 80 gsm paper it seems to have worked reasonably well the usual overlapping plates because that's the easiest way to build keel plates for me I have decided not to paint this one looks ok in daylight. I was expecting a lot of problems right at the aft end because the join is in the middle of the plates but with a little trimming it fitted well.

Good progress. The images give a good sense of the underwater shape of the hull.

Hull plates

The Hullsides are in place, of course after saying that I always build bow to stern, this one goes the opposite way. An overlap is provided to trim the sides for fitting.

Wotcher, bazzer!

Mate, that's just plain beautiful! A very attractive job in adding the hull sides, she really has attractive lines.

Hoping to see more real soon!

Cheers!

True words! You've really caught the hull lines and the look of the ship. This is going to be a beauty.

Basic superstructure

Thanks for the kind words Jim and Don.

The basic superstructure goes together quite quickly B gun house has an odd shape in that it slopes down towards the bridge which of course fooled my brain so it is only a test of this and the bridge because I drew the details backwards on the deckhouse. The bridge error was just silly a tiny triangle missed off. I shall probably build the next set wrong as it was very straightforward this time.

I'm not sure I understanding the error, Barry (but then, it's getting late here and I've had a long day, including my annual lecture on the Russo-Japanese War).

In any event, these three photos look just grand to me. These ships truly had sweet lines and your model is a treat!

I will not be able to resist this one! The Battle of the Atlantic has always been a interest and these little ships and their crews went a long long way to winning it.

Fantastic work!
