BEAUTIFUL job, Deckape! I have long lusted after this kit but have never been able to find it. Or, when I have found it offered, been able to afford it.

You did a masterful job on it! A lovely packet ship.

Thanks sir for your candid reply on my Feldmarschall I got this kit about 7 ago from PMI Paper Models International, ran by Lou Gossi He stocked all of the HMV line and other kit manufacturerers. He never ran out of stock. Scince he went out of buisness the only scource of getting HMV kits are through PAPER SCALE NET. His buisness is now been taked over by a new owner you have to keep in touch he might still have these in stock.

Thanks for the info, and you're welcome for the praise.
Sadly, PMI's new owner has yet to re-launch the business, as far as I know. I missed out on getting one of these at half price when Lou had his going out of business sale.

Nice piece of work Deckcape. Good to note another fan of the HMV brand. I'm better placed this side of the Pond to get hold of HMV kits and the new European Home - HMV - Hamburger Modellbaubogen Verlag web site is now advertising more of them.

Have a look at my post of 15-09-2009 for my build of the HMV Augusta Victoria. I used the metal fret for this one - not sure |I could afford them now I'm retired - but it made a difference. I'm currently building S.M.S.Panther, an old kit, but reprinted last year. This one has no drawings but four pages of extensive instructions in German. It's been quite a struggle but well worth it.

Happy modelling
