Hms warrior 1860

Is anyone anywhere going to produce a kit of this beautiful vessel?

It would be nice to see a model of HMS WARRIOR or HMS BLACK PRINCE.

Speaking about WARRIOR

'A black vicious ugly customer as ever I saw, whale-like in size, and with as terrible a row of incisor teeth as ever closed on a French frigate'

~ Charles Dickens

Woow really.. you would do a model?

I don't think it would be too much of an exaggeration to declare HMS Warrior is, for she is still afloat, one of the most important vessels in the world. A step change in technology.

Best

The only plans I have seen are those in "British Battleships" by Oscar Parkes.
More years ago now than I care to remember I built a 1/1200 scale model from them, which I still have.

OK, doing research now. I am working on a number of things at once, as always, but I will start to lay ground work for this one as well. It will probably be a full hull (with waterline model option) in 1/250 scale and be moderately detailed. No promises but if some basic lay out work goes OK, then I will get it going.

Right now I am trying to get a B-17 lifeboat done, as well as the CSS Stonewall, and a number of Union Tinclads. As I said, always multiple things going on!

Any additional links y'all stumble across will be helpful, pictures and drawings will be great!

Here are some photos of Warrior taken on a recent visit:

In some ways I found her more impressive then Victory.
