Lou,
Thank you for the Naval Action rules. I have many of the 1/2400 scale GHQ ships but have not used them for years. Your rules will give me a good excuse to dust off my ships. Ken |

Are you ready for a stupid question? If I were interested in building one of the ships are there instruction any where handy? They look very interesting and very nice. wc

In comparison with Fletcher Pratt, Seekrieg, or Command at Sea, I think you'll find Naval Action fast, easy - even relaxing - and enjoyable, Ken.
*Instructions*, wc. Who needs them? If you look at the assembled ships' photos on Lou Coatney's Military and Naval History Games, Writings, and Models, I think you'll be able to see how they go together. Note the crafty fold-over-and-back, 2-deck superstructure piece for the KGVs, though. |

Thanks, PaperSurprise.
An early (1997) owner and longtime player of my (desktop published) Naval Action rules has just posted this comment on NavWarGames (Yahoo group), in response to my announcement that I posted my Naval Action rules for free: "Indeed you have! Posted the best mini surface action rule set out there! I have played these often, they are great, easy to learn, and play very well." Naval Action's master ship status display list of WW2 warship classes is up at www.CoatneyHistory.com/NavalActionMasterShipList.rtf ANY feedback is welcome. I was just thinking: On it, I should mark the 30 or so classes I've designed cardstock models for. Cross-pollination between hobbies, so to speak. |

Lou, some of us who aren't that start(me need all the help they can get and then some or do you just leave them behind to make there own way? A friend in deed is one who reaches out for help and the offer is excepted. The easy thing is to say good bye or nothing. wc

I think they're pretty self-explanatory, wc, especially if you look at the photos on Lou Coatney's Military and Naval History Games, Writings, and Models. Good luck with them.

Neat! Please post photos, D. You have no idea how motivating to a designer it is to *see* others building his models.
Maybe I'll FINALLY get around to finishing my book of (30+) plans. |

Too Small
Well; Ain't the cat's meow !
I do like your little ships . Problem, after about an hour I can't focus on plastic , much less paper that small . Great job though ! |
