You so right, Thomas!
But I have no car - especially a Beetle or a Rabbit - in my stock. Sorry about this. But now I tackle on an oiler - you found them in every harbour ... it's a prototype ...

With lovely greetings

Operation Harbourside - Storage house

Hello Gentlemen,

After a long break - the oiler constrution needs a lot of space, but this will be a new thread - I would like to refresh the project.
In all harbours in the western world the storehouses, warehouses were switched into flats, offices and or break off. Since the tin boxes rules the world. Sorry, I'm a little bit old fashioned - I like the old harbour scenes.
I'm lucky when I found the old building when men with her power handled the cargos.
As an "opener" some pictures ...

I made a lot of pictures of the original and then I draw with a little help of Freehand, Photoshop and my brain a version with 4 elements and the big storehouse for my next photo session. I think, the pictures speaks for itself. Concentrated on the buildings - without ships ... but I will offer an arrangement in the forthcoming days ..

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried

Hello Wilfried!
It is excellent to see more of your "harbor" diorama, and also to get a look at images of the actual scene. Great work!

Nice work again Wilfried, your artistic touch is evident with the bricks, pretty to look at. Will wait to see what you add to this.

Wonderful creation, Wilfried! You are truly gifted with your creation of the brickwork in that building, and your construction techniques are amazing.

Can't wait to see more on this project!

Cheers!
Jim

Wow, this is just awesome seeing you create all this! I just build kits and haven't attempted coming up with anything on my own (yet). Your work is most impressive and inspiring.

Cheers, Corbin

Hello Jim and all the other gentlemen;

the reason starting this thread was not, begging for aas and oohs; my idea was, that people build scenes around their prior card model .. :D ships at a wharf, aircraft in front of a hangar or shelter, I think you know what I mean ...
and so I like to inspire you with my ideas. Jim, I work on the next arrangement. Harbour scenes are a never ending story ... a lot of cranes, harbour facilities, storehouses are waiting for me ..

With lovely greetings and a good start in the new week
the Wilfried

bunker boat and storage tanks

Hello gentlemen,

For the new minimodel of Passat Verlag - a tank motor ship - I needed a background for the printing matter. Thus the combination with the storage sheds offered. A few dispatch roles and the texture from scale scenes helped me in it. The rest is - as the bunker boat - drawn by me. However, see itself...

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried
