Hi Sam!
One hint, maybe you know already: Parts for the frame like P1, P2 and P3 or M1, M2 and M3 and so on should be made on carton as one part for better stability of the hull frame. Actually all horizontal and longitudinal frame parts which are made up by several parts in the kit should be glued to carton as one (they are made up by several parts in the kit because of the size in length of the model that just does not fit on the sheets). I am not sure if I have the same kit in my brother's cellar. But if you need some help with translating from Polish into English, just PM me. I am glad to help. Rgds, Radek

Radek;
Thank you for the advice. I will start glueing the formers this week to card stock. This will be my first full hull model. I'm looking forward to the challange. It will be a very slow build due to the fact that I don't want to damage any parts. I will be contacting you for advice. Thank you Sam

Group;
Formers are glued to cardstock. I will start cutting next week. I'm posting some photos of the formers. I may have to touch them up. My spray mount did not hold to well. I will post photos of rib of the ship when it is all done. Thanks Sam

Group;
Just a quick update. I have a plastic model on the bench that I'm working on and will be done soon with it. I started cutting out the formers in my spare time and moving along slowly. I also started making copies of them, just in case something goes wrong. i'm reviewing the plans and trying to follow the best line of attack on her. Once I have them all cut out and glued, I will start posting photos. I have plenty of questions for the group. My first one I need to understand is how the formers fit on to the keel. Any and all input is needed. Sam

Group:
Sorry for the delay, but just doing some detail work an a plastic model. I have all the formers cut out and getting ready to put the frame together. Group, is it wise to make a copy of all the parts in case I make a mistake. I did it with all the formers as a back up. I would only be able to make the copies in black and white unless I send it out to Kinko's for a full color copy, and I'm sure that would run up the cost. What do you recommend? Thanks Sam

Certainly it'd be an idea to have a scan of each page stashed somewhere just in case of a whoopsy...

Some times purchasing a 2nd kit is less expensive than going the Kinko's route. If you don't need it you then just sell it on E-Bay to recover some of the costs.
