First draft of the Acziv
Dear All:
It has been very difficult to keep away from these little wonders posted by Abraham. Nevertheless, this one was very challenging and I decided to build it as a draft and see if I could figure it out. My knowledge of Hebrew is nil, no instructions, no photos, and no libraries readily available. Fortunately I have a copy of the old reliable Jane's 72-73 with one B&W picture! I ended with four pieces to be determined where they go. I should learn at least the numbers in Hebrew. Next time I am going to glue electronically the hull! ps Remember this is a "draft" close to 1/400 off by 7%. Having done the LCTs from JSC's Operation Husky helped a lot. |

That's interesting- I just did a test print and assembly of the forward half of his MOLEDET, and the scale on 8 1/2 x 14" stock worked out to 1/422... maybe the original prints from the publication were 1/400?
Yes Avraham, this was one wonderful gift |

Thank you Decaturbeginer.
I found a nice picture of the craft from the rear on Wikipedia's entry on the 1982 Lebanon War. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1982_L...0LandAwali.jpg As for the scale I did the calculation to 1/400 but did not take into account the overlapping parts of the hull, so the final version was a little bit short! For the next one I will glue the parts digitally first. |

Do you have the model where the chimney is marked with seven yellow stars because it is increased by two hundred percent in a simple Microsoft drawing software
