And just after filling gaps, grinding and painting inner walls

And some notes about model:
  • details CL and CP not labeld on assembly guide
  • the ledges (marked with red) at images should to be cutted, because there are no corresponding slots for these elements.

Hello Lexus JC,

The Pinnace "Papegojan" is a great choice for your next model following the "Golden Hind". I have also ordered this kit from GPM but am awaiting it's arrival from Poland. How do you like the lasercut hull frames? I use then whenever I can. Sure helps with the wear and tear on my hands.

I do have one question. Why are the formers painted Black? Is this to hide then if they are visable through hull and deck openings? I will be watching you build "Papegojan" with interest and will be following your lead.

Respectfully.
Dennis

This is first time I'm using lasercutted elements. The quality is perfect and makes building much easier.

Yes, this is black coating acrylic paint. On the one hand it will hide white parts of interior and on the other hand it will increase adhesion for missing elements.

Hello Lexux JC,
Your ship is beautiful. The deck has some nice printed detail. I look forward to more updates.
