Thanks for the kind words guys!

And now for a small update.
The big red part is finished! This is only the second time I have done a full hull ship in this size so it isn't the greatest looking thing around. It went on pretty good but I think I need more practice cutting out these large parts more accurately. There are plenty of gaps and a few places where the parts just did not want to sit right but overall I am extremely pleased with myself for getting it on there!

Some pics of course

Next up will be the upper hull plating. This part has been a nightmare since I started looking for the parts. There are 4 parts that are numbered wrong. I had these extra parts that I could not find on the diagrams anywhere and feared it was the same issue as earlier. Turns out they are on the diagram but numbered differently than on the parts sheets.

B1 should be B1P
B2 should be B2P
B3 should be B1L
B4 should be B2L
Also part B3L has its part number printed inside of the part in a space that may not be covered by another part. It may actually be covered but it will be very close.

Well that is all for now, thanks for looking everyone!

That's a fine looking hull. This is always the "make or break" point for me in a full hull ship model. It looks like you have no real problems so far.

Great work on the "red part"!

The "gray parts" are looking good, too.

Ah, the joys of ship building. I always have trouble with the hulls. But yours looks great.
