Thanks for the kind words guys. Honestly this is a case of the camera actually hiding the problems since it lacks the "fault finding" setting and does not like to take pictures while zoomed in for some reason.:D

@ Kuba, This is actually my fourth ship model. I have built the Digital Navy V-108 waterline version, the Disney experience Wicked Wench, and The GPM USS Missouri (unfinished and somewhat damaged) that has been made into a waterline version since I failed miserably at the dreaded "big red part". So this is only my second attempt on the underwater hull part of any ship.

It has been a busy weekend so no progress to show but expect to have some more done during the week so stay tuned for updates soon.

Ah, but it's still the second hull - that's the big unique thing about ships! Well that, and 50 trillion parts

The zoomed in thing could just be your minimum focus distance. Check if there's a macro setting? Should be a flower icon. Either way, wide angle focuses much much closer than a zoom.
