I just returned after about a year away from the Forum, wow is all I can say of the builds that are gracing this site. You sir are a Master Builder, the tape colored lites just blew me out of the water, one of those things when you see you ask yourself, now why did I not think about that. Thanks for sharing this Masterpiece. And most importantly, I came away ready to try a new idea.

This idea is not mine. I was stuck with red and green positional lights for over three weeks. My first approach focused on clear plastic tubes (ballpoint pen) heat extruded, and filled with appropriate paint. It didn't work. So, I sent a mail to friend o'mine (who used to be "beta tester" for Halinski releases), and ask him for advice. And it really was, as You say "one of those things when you see you ask yourself, now why did I not think about that"

It's a question of experience. Now, we are both more experienced and skilled.

STRK, simple beautiful and elegant. You made it seem so simple and "as a matter of fact", which belies your talent. The attention to detail is what makes this ship stand out. Another masterpiece, one of your many.

A wee bit of research...and I am a big fan of the ORP. I am curious about code name "brothers." Makes me think of the Sullivans...

Yes, I forgot about her, but your 1:200 version will be much better. Full hull or waterline?
