STRK, you surely do not mess around. That hull is absolutely clean, fair and straight. This is not surprising after seeing your other work but always a pleasure!

Thank You John,

in fact, hull is slightly warped, but one has to know where to look at:D.
It's my fault, for my experience in building large paper hulls is rather poor:D. This is just more difficult than simple-shaped sub...

Except this (and few errors in design, i.e. helo-hangar is unbuildable:(), I'm also happy with the effect.

I hope You are gettin' better!

Lamps mounted. I'm disappointed, it seems to me that lamps are oversized...:

Helo hangar:

-internal construction. Lot of 1mm cardboard for relatively small element, but it's necessary - large flat surfaces need some support:

Thor is designed in modular technology. Here You can see the hangar module, partialy equipped with details and interior:

Now I will try to glue it in designated place... Give me ten minutes.

Helo-hangar finished.

Bulwark around hangar roof is double-sided. It came out, that it's better to cut up this element to few separated parts, and fit them individually.
What is important, during this stage I destoyed only four lamps and one ladder:D

Don't feel too bad. I had to take out my bathroom wall to put in a new tub! I spent the bulk of the summer rebuilding the bathroom. Water damage, the bane of paper models and homes.

Beautiful work, and a few small parts lost is nothing, trust me I can't wait for this one to be released, it is truly gorgeous.
