I like a lot small Zio models, Tiger Moth and Breda 65 is one of my favorites. Great work!

Sorry, I just remembered a mistake in Zio's Dh 88, the real plane doesn't have ailerons in the upper wing.
Just in case someone else wants to do it, you must remove it before printing.

I think you mean the DH.82. The DH. 88 is the Comet racer. I actually wish Fabrizio designed that one too.. It's my all-time favourite interbellum plane. (-: I find it quite hard to redesign / recolour Zio planes. Some of them have a graphic quality to the colouring which almost looks like pencil drawn. And frankly, with this one I do not really care. I think there are little mistakes in a couple of his designs, I found for example that the engine cowling of the DH.82 didn't fit as-is over the fuselage nose end. I had to cut a little bit off of the nose part to make it more tapered. And sometimes the indentations in a fuselage are not coming together as they should, so then I just add a little strip behind them and do it by hand. These Zio planes are improving by just fumbling and keeping moulding them with your fingers until the parts are glued together. (The best one I think is how the fuselage of his Spitfire blends into the wings. That is just wonderfully done without having to make extra wing chines.) |

Yes, Dh 82 Tigermoth, sorry.
I corrected mine with paint, like I'm sure Zio did. I'm pretty sure he did his planes with a spray, later taking photographs or scaning the result and mixing it with a graphics editor. He probably had experience with printshops or book publishing.

Great job PK !! I built this version a long time ago, that effect on the textures that Zio made makes his models look fantastic.
