I just tried putting the forum into Google Translate, and it seemed to give a translated output but also had a message saying:
"This page was not retrieved from its original location over a secure connection."

It might be complaining about some http vs. https setting?

Orazio,

I was able to have Papermodelers translate into Italian. Are you using a hotlink shortcut or are you typing the address in the translator? If you are using a shortcut, delete it and re-type the address again inside the translator for a fresh link.

Sono stato in grado di avere Papermodelers traducono in italiano. Si sta utilizzando un collegamento hotlink o stai digitando l'indirizzo nel traduttore? Se si utilizza un collegamento, eliminarlo e ri-digitare nuovamente l'indirizzo all'interno del traduttore per un collegamento fresca.

everything I do / did, is a simple click on the icon "T" Google translator:

But the same thing I do for all other sites. that works!

Something strange is happening. Yesterday I was able to use the same translation services and translate this forum from English to Italian. Today it does not work. This message is recieved:

I tried translating from English to other languages and recieved the same error message.

All other websites in a language other than English were able to be translated to English. All other websites in English were able to be translated to any language I chose in the Options menu.

The previous happens whether I use the red T on the toolbar for the Translator or whether I go to the Translate.Google webpage via url and paste the url of the web page in need of translating. All other web pages get translated, that error message shows up when the url for PM is used.

When English is the language chosen in the Translator Options menu and the page is in English this is the error message:

I get that message here and at any other English webpage were the translator is used which is what I would expect to get.

Well,
I tried with my friend in a other city with another computer: I got the same inability to translate the Forum.

Google's translation (Italy) service is therefore not able to translate the forum because, I presume, he encounters some problem accessing the server hosting the Forum.

FWIW, I can get everything to work just fine.

I'm using a Mac, and Google Translate worked using both Safari and Chrome.

The only thing I get is a small dialogue window stating "This page was not retrieved from its original location over a secure connection."

Using Chrome on my Linux box works as well, with the same small dialogue window popping up.

The sie is translating fine into whatever language I try, on a tablet, phone and my PC. So it's not the site.

Surely it is not even the problem of my machine or system.

It is a problem of "Google Translator Service" (from Italy, at least) that meets some issues connecting to USA Server (Test was made with other machine).
Most likely from the USA, the problem does not exist.

I hope that later it will work (because it is a very important thing).
