Congratulations to all the people who made this forum a success.
Having said that I would like to mention Saul Jacobs who, I guess was the fore-runner of almost all Fora or is that forums? I hope I've got Saul's sir name right ......it was a long time ago. There appears to be a lack of ideas for a celebration - The choice seems obvious ;-) - A 10 candle pop up birthday cake "a la" creative park! Cheers Mike |

As the Beatles sang, I get along with a little of from my friends, in my case this is true.
I had a small conversation with our own John Bowden, about a quick repaint of an existing model. Cardmodel.cn, our Chinese paper model brethren, released a very nice and effective scale display shelf/cube. When it first came out, and mentioned by Ron Burns, I went looking and asking for, and getting permission to recolor the kit in to our forum colors, this is where John came in, a mere 36 hours(we both needed to sleep) we were able to finish the recolor and attribution for the shelf, and even give it an Anniversary paint job. You can get the Anniversary version here >> http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/v...ownloadid=2725 and you can get the plain version here >> http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/v...ownloadid=2724 I hope you can benefit and make use of it, and I hope to see many build threads with this shelf as part of the narrative. Your first present courtesy of Papermodelers.com Rick

Congrats on the milestone, that's a lot of energy and much appreciated by this modeler although I do not build as much paper as I would like(building too many other things)
I do remember the early days and still have most of a copy of the original FAQ. |

A4 or A3
I assume this is A4 size for printing? Or did I just live up to the alternate meaning of assume?

when you download pdf files, and you open the file in the reader, place your cursor in the bottom left hand corner, you will see the size of the document, so you can see what the designer used for sheet size.

Rick,
Thank you; that is truly a useful piece of information. All these years and I never knew that was there. Who says an old dog can't learn a new trick! John |
