New Model Review forum

I just wanted to let everyone know that we have added a new section to the forum. It is more of an information and archive section as members cannot post to it. I am hoping to fill the section with model and build reviews. Jim has graciously offed to be the first tot populate the section with his build review of the PzKpfw V Panther by Military Models. You can check it out here. http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/f...splay.php?f=34 If any one is interested, could you please drop me a PM.

Thanks,
Jason

Jason,
Consider breaking the Review forum into two sections: one for Build Threads and one for traditional Kit Reviews.

Build threads are very useful for learning techniques and overcoming hurdles. But when I'm deciding what to build next, it's difficult and sometimes frustrating to read through an entire build thread to find out what the builder thought of the kit.

Shorter kit reviews offer a quick sketch of a kit's plusses and minusses, level of difficulty, pitfalls, builders' suggestions, and overall value -- in a single post

There is room and good reason for both approaches. It makes sense to me to keep them (somewhat) separate. I'd be happy to submit a couple of reviews to help get things started.

No worries,
--David

It is a great suggestion, and one I thought I had already responded to, but it seems I did not. The Section will be broken out, but I am planning on waiting till we have a couple more threads, but it will happen. Thanks for the suggestion.
