Waybe now available!

Well folks, the long-awaited Waybe release is here. It is available for Mac or PC. It requires that you have already installed Google Sketchup or Sketchup Pro on your computer. You can download a 15-day trial version here:

Waybe Paper Modeling - Waybe Demo

I personally suggest you learn a few things about Sketchup before you use up your trial, but then again, I think that it's a good enough product that you really should seriously consider spending the $50 to buy it.

I was on the beta-testing team and have used it. Still haven't finished a plane (I'm kind of like Gil and Lief and like to tinker) with it, but have found that it does work.

Hi Ryan,

can you specify the advantage of waybe in comparison with the combination sketchup+pepakura?

O.k., pepakura is not available for mac - but else?

Thanks!

Bernhard

Well, it's all in the same program for one thing, and it includes manual test modes on individual parts - which can be very useful if you are still in the design stages.

Soon, I hope. Like I said, I've got the tinkering / perfectionistic problem.
