Printers

OK Paper Modelers

I would like your thoughts on printers!

I'm just beginning here and am running a Brother MFC 295CN

Could you suggest other printers that might be a lot more suitable to the cause!

Cheers

I personally like the Epson WorkForce line of all-in-one inkjet printer/scanners. What I like best about them is that their inks are lightfast to prevent fading, and waterproof so they don't need to be sealed before applying glue or paint.

I've been using the HP Photosmart 8250 that I found in a second hand store for $15. Add a $30 Constant Ink Supply System from E-Bay along with cheap E-Bay ink, and ink costs are no longer a consideration. It has sat for the last 5 weeks while I was on the road and none of the ink jets dried out. I've been using it for over a year without any problems.

I am looking to replace my old officejet G55, and I am researching the new HP officejet X series, one piece print head, covering the entire sheet, in draft black, to will do some 66 pages per minute.
I am not sure if I want to get the MFP version, seeing it is about 200 more.

I am I really like the wifi features in these printers

i bought a canon mg7120 a few months ago. I am really happy with it. has scanner, 6 color printer, tons of setting for paper and image quality. I am especially impressed by the machine's ability to print really small details.

A printer with no back feed for the paper seems to me that they can't handle the heaver gsm or lb paper except maybe one at a time. Still limited.
