Browser recommendation

So I ditched IE when it became even more problems after XP stopped being supported and switched to Chrome.

Now Chrome is no longer supported and has started to drag my browsing to a crawl.

I am looking at using FireFox now. I would like to ask for your opinions before I start using it alot.

Thanks!

Some sites do not like FireFox, but overall, I've had few problems with it.

But if IE no longer works well with XP and Chrome isn't working well, what choice do you have but do FireFox?

Here is a link for multiple browsers however, be aware that being on an older OS like XP, 98, ME etc you may start to experience issues again.

I've used Firefox for a long time. Is nice, simple, and fast.

If you decide to use it, think also about installing the ADBlock and No-Script add-ons, which are very useful to prevent unwanted pop-up advertisement and other undesired things. That's how I use it, and have been problem-free for some 10 years.

Plus one for Firefox.......... also you might want to take a look at Pale Moon........... it's basically FireFox Lite and works a little faster on older machines and OS......

I have XP and Firefox and have no problems. I don't know about newer OS, but I am finding several sites that want upgrades that XP can't do....so Guess I'll be finding out what to use with Windows 10 in the near future, although I understand Firefox is good there too. Jim

Hi,
from the far "Windows 98" up to "Windows 10" today.
I always used "Firefox".
I never had problems. My site yesterday and today has been built entirely using this excellent browser.
The latest update to version 47.0 has taken place a few hours ago.

Orazio.
