Any Inkscape gurus aboard?
If so, can anyone confirm for me whether Inkscape has multi-page support? The most recent information I've found on the interwebby is that two years ago it did NOT except through the use of a rather glitchy plugin.
If that's still the case, do Inkscapers use separate layers for separate page layouts? TIA --jeff |

Separate layers works.

I'm not quite sure whether I understand your question.
Does Inkscape support layers? The answer is definitively YES! Does Inscape support multipage documents? Uhmm... Inscape files are meant to represent a single page of artwork. As a work around you could use layers to create several pages of artwork in one and the same svg file but you would have to print them out one at a time, making the layers for the desired page visible and making all other layers invisible. There is no function to print all the pages automatically as one print job. Inscape can also import from multipage documents, e.g. multipage PDFs. However, it can only import one page at a time. You have to select which page you want. I hope that helps. |

Thank you, gentlemen. You have confirmed what I suspected.
