Metasequoia problem...

Hi all!
I am now designing a model with metasequoia and, for some mysterious reasons, since yesterday I can select vertices, lines, objects only after zooming out (a lot). This makes almost impossible to work. It seems that the problem derives from the particular 3d model, made of about 60 objects. I do not have similar problems with other models...
Thanks a lot for your help!

PINO

I haven't worked with Meta in years but as some general troubleshooting
1. check if there are no duplicate vertices - if you manage to select the vertex, delete it to see if there was another at the same position
2. export (to obj for example) and import in a new file
3. try deleting objects to see if it starts behaving normally at some level

I know nothing about the program, so I am just glad that someone jumped in to help

Fortunately PP usually does receive help when he asks but some latitude must be allowed on account of longitude.
Time zones can cause delayed reaction.

I know little about the program but perhaps PP should also be prepared to move on to suggestion #3 if needed.
Experience with other programs suggests to me that 60 objects may well be too many in a single file.

Thanks loocker!
Despite the time zones, there is always somebody ready to help. This forum is simply fantastic!
Thanks for your suggestion. I do not know what is wrong in my model... Other models with much more objects do not create any problems... boh...
Anyway, I am still working with .obj. The only problem is that pepakura seems not able to reload the updated .obj file. So, a little more work to do...

Maybe try to save it to metaseq's format to see if it's still broken?
It's often some combination of some unusual circumstances rather than one particular issue that often break software in weird ways.

I think that problem will be down to your view settings: menu->view->set view.
If you set the perspective/zoom to something silly but then use the ortho mode because you can't see the model in persp mode then you usually get this problem.
Sometimes it is because the model size is far too big or too small.
The view settings are saved with the files.
One quick fix is unlock all your objects, edit-> select all, attribute -> fit to view
Note: this sometimes causes the problem as well.
