Cannot Download

I figure this must be a software problem. I am using MS - 10 on my PC and suddenly, I am not able to download. I keep getting a error message that I am not authorized to use the download page. Can someone help correct the problem?

Thanks,
John

I downloaded earlier today, and seemed to be working fine.
And i just tried downloading the most recent file, and worked fine too.

Is it a problem with a specific file you wish to get?
Or a general error affecting all our attempts?

Sometimes this kind of errors are due to he browser needing update.
And sometimes logging out and logging in again and clearing the cache and cookies solves those problems.

It is general across the whole download section. I tried several random files and got the same error. I will try logging out and then log in again and see what happens. Thanks for the advice.

you aren't the first one to report this.
there have been instances where the visitor load has played with the download and even uploading of pictures(has happened to me)
we are aware of this, and we have been working with the hosting company to resolve this(we might need to give a swift kick in the butt on this one again)

Ruben is correct, sometimes as simple as a reboot or recycle of the modem might clear up the problem, sometimes not(Billy not being able to access the forum for instance)

It is not much, but try the standards, recycle your computer, modem, and router(if you have one) and hope for the best

Rick

I logged out, rebooted everything, logged back in and got the same error. The sequence is always the same. "Your download will begin in X secs." When the countdown ends, I get a error message that the page is not functioning, followed by a REBOOT button. When the button is clicked, I get the "You are not authorized" message.

Thanks for trying to help. I'll try downloading tomorrow and post my results.

John

Try clicking on the file and not on the "down load all files " button its the only way I can down load.

If I do I get this
Cannot Download-error1.jpg

and then this when I click on the back arrow
Cannot Download-error2.jpg

Smile Windows 10

Yes - I am getting the same thing. I think its something to do with MS 10.

Try an older OS like Windows 7.

I do appreciate the frustration you and others are experiencing however, I do not think that this is a problem that can be laid at ADMINS door.

If ADMIN could take up the cudgels, to resolve the issue or Shout at MICROSOFT .... (believe it or not - they do not shake down their Operating Systems - They just release it and wait for all the complaining e-mails to start rolling in BEFORE they start looking for the BUGS ).

Sorry for the rant......needed to vent the spleen.

I've been using Win10 for some 8 months without any problem.

I don't discard the possibility of some incompatibility.
But my personal experience has been quite good both with the system and with the internet.

I know there were some issues when people updated from a previous Windows.
But since I made a clean install, I haven't had any trouble.

I don't have issues on the Win 7, but I have to do what Gary does on the Win 10. I don't know if it is the Win 10 or the extra Security stuff that my IT guy put on that computer

I have the same problem. I have Windows Vista with Explorer 9. I clicked download all files, and waited till the counter went to zero. Got error message. Tried again with pop-up blocker off. Still does it. Tried Firefox 50 with pop-up blocker off. Worked the same way except when timer hit zero it went to a blank page and did nothing. I waited a few minutes before closing the page. I don't have a problem up loading pictures because I started a build thread last week with no problems, and don't think I would have a problem with up loading files.
