Anyone working with 3DS Max?

Years ago I used Pepaura to unfold my, ehhm, one single design I did back on 2003 or so. I remember not being very happy with the software, but I didn't have a lot of choice.

Now I'm back to paper model design, and 3DS Max being my software of choice (this is what I use at work), I thought I'd see if I can use it for unfolding, printing and tab creation.

I currently have a script to use existing unwrap channels to unwrap the model (this is an independent UV channel than the one used for texturing) and another script that creates tabs based on user-entered values from a selection of edges. I'll probably continue the work and polish my set of tools. I already rendered some pages and combined the textures with a vector output in Inkscape, and I think I can automate that as well.

I was wondering if there's any interest here in this. If so, I'll share my work.

Just registerd to claim my interest

I'm currently designing a model in 3ds Max - a program i worked years with - but now i have a hard time getting the actual model on paper... therefore i would be glad, if you could share your tools with me and give me some tips on the workflow!
