Firefox Browser Update killed Add-Ons

The latest Firefox update to ver. 66.03 made almost all of my add ons stop working, and most of them have no functioning substitute in the add on store.

The problem is on Mozilla's side.
They need to update the certificates to make everything work again.
By the time being, do not uninstall any add-on, as they will be working fine again once Mozilla solves this bug.

I had the same problem when I allowed Firefox to update my laptop to the new level. I had to do a system restore to an earlier point in time to get rid of it. Every time the computer is powered off now, I have to decline Firefox's persistent efforts to get me to upgrade.

What is the solution as mine went out yesterday and is still not working properly ? Where do we find it ?

Open Firefox, go to menu select 'Help' select 'About Firefox' the software will chck to see if it is up to date, if it isn;t it will give you the option to download. Once downloaded restart Firefox and then re enable addons or if you are unlucky like me you'll have to go and redownload and reinstall to get them working again.

May be you have to change your privacy-sttings and give Firefox permission (for some time) to send information to Mozilla.

Thanks all......an update came through which I allowed to install and everything was restored.

There have been a couple of back to back Firefox updates and all the "lost" add-ons have reappeared.

Maybe I'll try it again. Getting tired of them nagging me.
