My thanks to one and all. You are too kind. I'm hoping I'll get it done before the contest end date. My younger daughter is getting married next weekend, and my wife and I have been super busy for the past couple of weeks. I'll give it my best shot.

Well, the Dauntless is done, and I decided to go totally Fiddler's Green with this build, so I displayed it "in flight" on a Fiddlers Green base rather than on one of my own design. I'll be adding a few details later (exhaust pipes, antenna mast, etc), but for the contest, this one is a wrap. On to the next challenge!

It's a homerun! You really knocked it out of the park on this one. Great job.

Excellent job!

She does look brilliant on the "in flight" display.

Thanks for sharing your build with us, I've not had much success with my attempt on this model but you've given me some inspiration to try it again.

Cheers!
Jim

Outstanding "out-of-the-box" build. Really sweet. I got to do a modded one of these.

Thaks for all the kudos fellas. Like most "simple" Fiddler's Green models it definitely had its challenges, but it was a fun build, and I'm happy with the way it came out. I'd love to see others' builds of this kit, stock or modded. There are so many great new kits out there, that these classic models are easily overlooked.
