More forum sections

How about some forum sections under card models for build threads?
You know like an Aircraft Builds section, one for armor, one for anime etc.
Or do you have a better place for build threads?
Or maybe someone has a better idea? Anyone?

Russell

I would have to agree, Russell. Certainly people have their favorites, so it would make the site more easily navigated if you could go to a favorite... I know on other forums, the sheer number of posts can be daunting (especially when your tired!), so I usually check in on my favorites and scan the others for something that catches the eye! So, yes, let's see some specific sections for types of models.

Jason,

Or if you don't want to address those questions, how about your vision for this forum.

What are you looking to create?

Rick

If you have a section you would like added, please send me a PM with your suggestion. I had thought about creating a whole whack of sub-forums, but I was not sure what people would want to post about and worried that a lot of the sub-forums would remain empty for a while. All I am trying to say is if you want to post in an Amour section under the card model, let me know, and I will create a new section for you to post in, but in the meantime, I will create a few more sub-forums.

It is sort of a balancing act when a forum is just starting out, since you want to have forums for members to post in, but you do not want the forum to seem like a ghost town.

Jason

While I could write a whole section on my vision for the site, the short answer is that I would like the members to guide how the site grows, but I will post more in a couple days one I have the gallery and a couple other things working 100%.

I think I will take the responsibility part. The only way to grow a site for the dedicated Paper Modelers will be to have everyone contribute and if it becomes a wacky place then so be it.
