Question Community R.I.P page

Ok this might seem a strange one but how about when a member becomes deceased then threads and profiles are ammended to show this information.I dont follow all the news threads on here and i have had two occasions when i have posted to or emailed members on specific builds or models only to be advised they are no longer with us.I know is sounds daft but it makes you feel silly for not knowing.Just an idea!!

I think it's a great idea too. Is anyone aware of any other forums that has such a feature? Would be good to know in advance how it works.

I like this idea, also there are no other threads I know of but I know that on Facebook if you provide a death certificate (or something like that) they can delete your account.

I know this because it happened to my best friend who passed away at the beginning of this month.

We have been talking about this behind the scenes.

If anyone like Ruben, has similar sections, please pass those on to us, we take a look, and see what we can implement

The National Model Car Museum has a roll for deceased model car builders. Its updated at the end of each year. Unfortunately lots of us are starting to get a bit 'long in the tooth'.
