to post a link

Hi,
sorry, if my question is already answered anywher here in this forum, but I didn't find the answere.
My question is: why I can't post a link to an other thread in this forum? If I do, I get a message like "Post denied. New posts are limited by number of URLs it may contain and checked if it doesn't contain forbidden words.", what I don’t understand.
Regards
Norbert

You have to have a certain number of posts (10, I believe) before you can post links. It's designed to block spam bots.

Yes Norbert, as Palindrome has explained. The limit is put in place to combat the spammers. You can still post a link to a forum if you like before 10 posts by NOT including the "http:" or "www." at the beginning of the link. People will just have to copy/paste. You're almost there though....4 more posts.
