What I do not see is any way to save any changes on this page. No "Save Changes" button to click, no nothing.

Is this a new down load system I have seen here in use. I'm not the smartest stick in the group but I'm lost with it. I thought some new crap got on my PC. wc

I can check the box at the top of the subscription list,
which in turn checks all the items in the list for that one page. Unfortunately I have about 140 pages of subscriptions. The "save/choices" option is at the bottom, in the drop down list of options. I did about 7 pages worth of subscriptions before I got fed up. Luckily the list is in order, from latest subscriptions, which is the most important. So those first 7 pages will keep me covered with most new posts. I also realized, that any new posts in any threads, subscribed or not, will appear in the "New Posts" list which I keep an eye an every day. So, hopefully I won't miss any new posts to really old subscribed threads. .................................... Wad Cutter...everything being discussed relates to basic forum options and thread subscriptions*. (*Getting notices about threads you have posted in or have subscribed to). In case you don't know how to do this, go to the top of any forum page and click on User CP. (Its on the far left of the blue bar) On the left, you will see your Control Panel. Look down, for the section named Subscribed Threads. If you click List Subscriptions, you will be taken to a list of every Thread you ever subscribed to. (By default, you should be automatically subscribed to any thread that you have posted in) The list could be pages long...as in my case...2717 Subscriptions At the far right of the list, each subscription has a Notification status. If you want to receive notices about new posts in any thread, you should see something other than "none". You can opt for instant, daily or weekly notifications. And... Go back to your Control Panel (left side of the User CP page) and look for "Edit Options" in the Settings area. Click it and go through all your different options for email notices, thread subscriptions, etc. Set everything the way you want it and then go to the very bottom of the page and click "Save Changes". I found a couple of these things had changed after the last forum update. I prefer automatic subscription to a thread I post in (or start myself). And I opt for instant email notifications of new posts, etc. I also allow all forms of email and notifications from the forum and its members. ... sorry, I don't know much about the download "system" here. But you shouldn't be getting any viruses or such. I think everything here is checked and is safe.
