Yes, issues still present. And I now also have issues trying to connect through Dutch proxy servers (which work fine on other sites). Any Dutchies still able to connect the ordinary way?

best wishes Michiru

Thank you Michuru.

Peaceglue suggested using Tor if you don't want to use a VPN. This works for him.

Tor doesn't work on my system, I'll just keep looking for working proxies. *shrugs* But thanks, all the same!

Hi, I am from Israel and I have this issue for a week by now - same 522 error from Cloudflare.
I tried everything from my end: contacted local provider and they checked there is no blocking or filtering of the site, though they themselves couldn't enter the site and provider no solution...
Restarted router, checked different browsers - same issue.
The only way I can access is from my cellular network.
But it is not comfortable, since I have an ongoing build thread to maintain.
I'll try VPN solution and will check here and there if I can access through my region.

But maybe it worth a thorough examination on Cloudflare server?

Hi guys.

As rkelterer I am from Austria and since April, 8th, 0830 MESZ the Error 522 is displayed.
Only via OPERA and buildtin VPN the connection works.
Interresting, one hour earlier, at 0730 on the same day, the connection worked on Firefox, no VPN, properly!

I reported this and all information I could get via PN to Jason.

Hope he can locate the problem and it will be fixed.

Regards,

Wiwo

Just to update... The problem disappeared today, after a week.
I can access the forum without VPN (Israel)
Very odd issue

Thanks for the update. We had our hosting provider update some settings to our server last week to try and cut down the amount of traffic to our server. It s balancing act between access and keeping the spammers out and while it did cut down the amount of bots and spammer by about 6x, unfortunately this time it was noticeable as it filtered our some legitimate traffic to our community as well.

So, Rickstef posted a notice last night on Facebook that the connection issue might have been solved for french and german users... and it has, indeed! After 8 months, I can finally read Papermodelers again! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Now, I wonder what the exact issue was.
