Gas Cans

Dear List Folks:
I'm going for 1/32 scale because in High School many years ago I painted Military Minatures and have severial North Africa German Figures that match some of the Picts of the Dorchester in NA. Plastic Gas Cans would be nice however from the pictures I would need 10 to 12 of them, paper might be cheaper but not faster :(. The sound you hear is me hitting head on desk AFTER I started layering the doors gas caps etc. I noted that at the 1/32 scale IF I hade another copy of the main body I could have cut out all the armor pannels and glued them onto the model. I do'nt know if my friend would copy more and do I want to toss 25 hrs. work so far.
Thanks,
Miles Linnabery, Youngstown, NY

Well, Miles, I'm not trying to sell anything; in fact, I am willing to ship them to you at no charge.

Since you need so many, the trick is to make a mold from Durham's Putty and cast the number you need in Celluclay.

The kit has quite a few Jerry Cans to begin with. So, you won't have to do much casting.
