Free download section?
Yes, we have "kit announcements" but maybe a "free download" section would seperate the two. Usually "kit announcements" is about models for sale, or for the designer to announce new kits. The "free downloads" would be for internet finds.
What do you think?

I agree - I also think it'd be more appropriate to have these 2 sections separated.

I'm for it. It makes easier to point someone to free a download. Telman

Boy did you have me worried for a minute. I thought you were referring to having a download section and I keep think that it is right there between the articles and the gallery tabs. Then it clicked in. New sub-forum has been setup under the Card Models section. Thanks for the suggestion Phil.

Hi,
If you want a good selection of free downloadable paper kits go here: http://www.3dpapermodel.com.tw/home.html If you look at the bottom of the page you will see ongoing page numbers. Many of the links are backdated some years, but in many cases they are still available for downloads. If you download Flashget, which is free and you can get it from Google, you can set it up to download huge amounts of free card kits to a folder location of your choosing automatically, just choose options and go from there. If you go to http://belkasoft.com/ you can download their free IE Getlinks tool which works in IE. This converts a web page into either HTML or plain text - it is a new way of looking at things and you can use this tool to locate other free kits for download (usually a PDF file) or ongoing links to other free sites for more downloads, even when the web page is in Japanese, Russian or whatever. 5 years ago there was at least 8 gigabytes of free card kits, not pirated - now, I have no idea. Richard. |
