1/144 ModelArt P-40

As I have not finished a model in months (but that may end this week!)
I present another TBT plane from the vault.

This kit was originally 1/72, by ModelArt. This of course, is designer Emil Zarkov.

Nothing special, just something from my early days of paper models. This one dates back to March of 2004.

Sadly, this model met an early demise at the hands of a young boy...

The pictures also show how my beginning picture efforts were not that good.

Fine Warhawk, Flyboy.

I have been wanting to move in the other direction and enlarge Dr. Zarkov's P-40M (possibly of the 23rd Fighter Group, oh by the way). It appears to be a well-engineered model, as is the norm with Dr. Zarkov.

Nice job. Just to show how long ago I bought the Flying Tigers version of that kit, it came on a 3.5 inch floppy from Paper Paradise. They also sent a printed version as well. I built it in 1/48 though.

What's a 3.5 floppy??? Some new sort of mass storage device? I remember when 16 k was a big deal.

A 1/144 p-40. I can't even see that small anymore. Like Don said, I'd have to enlarge it to a minimum 1/33.

Rest easy, Rich! Dr, Zarkov's P_40N is available at 1/32 (easy rescale to 1/33) in the same markings of the 80th Fighter Group (Burma Banshees) as Ray's model.

Looks great! Young boys and paper just don't mix, LOL.

Nice build. Ray. There's no way my fat fingers would let build anything in that scale.
