Man you could buy a lot of paper models for that single cut, I don't think any scissor is worth that.

For the man committed to his craft...

I didn't even let the page fully load. Saw the price and closed the window.

But if anyone wants to get me something for Christmas ...

I could buy a basic printer, one set of replacement cartridges and two packages of paper and a nice pair of Frisket scissors for that price!!!!!

I'll pass.

Think what a good job these would do next time you had to dissect a cat.

Well, at least you could autoclave them so the next time you nip yourself while modeling the cut would be very clean.

Oh boys....

Of course it's a expensive thing, but... it is for a special use in medical circumstances. Even it is not clear, wether it will cut paper well. So don't panic.

In a shop especially for haircutting equipment I saw scissors for 500 - 600 Euro.
I can't evalute if scissors are worth the price.

In a german forum, I read the tip: If somebody knows a grinderman, he could be asked for special sharpening the scissors cutting paper. The result should be objectiv better.

There are a ton of surgical scissors available on e-bay. Remember they throw all that stuff away after surgery. Even if they never touch it. Everything that goes into the surgery suite is never used again even if it isn't opened. Some staff members take them home and sell them on e-bay. I have a friend who is a surgical nurse and she gets me all kinds of stuff. I went in for stitches once and when they were done I asked to keep the suture kit, tweezers, hemostats etc. They were a little bloody, but hey it was my blood. So She bagged them up and gave them to me.
