Re: Purchased apps used in design
I asked Jakub about English tutorial for Siatki - he makes version 4.1 and there probably will English tutorial.
I'll try translate from polish tutorial for version 4.0.5, it takes me more time but maybe my English grows up

Re: Purchased apps used in design
fitter i notice you use version 4.o.5. the site only has 3.2.8. is there a big difference between the 2?
as an aside been playin with siatki a bit, and can see the huge potential for it. however i am reluctant to spend the $80.00 without any way of learning how to make it usefull :'(

Re: Purchased apps used in design
nothing - here you are version 4.0.5 - look yourself
http://www.gremirmodels.com/Download...0Tutorials.zip Main difference - you can make two or more parts not one, and you can "cut" the part. Look in tutorials - Polish is very simple language I try make tutorial in Ehglish but it's too hard for me :/ But I try!

I use SketchUp 7.0, Pepakura 3.0, and Photoshop CS3 for my modeling pipeline. For realistic textures I have a Rollei 7.0 megapixel camera.
Other apps I use to assist in creating models include 3DS Max and ultimate Unwrap 3D. I've experimented with the latter's new sister Ultimate PaperCraft3D demo. It looks good, but cannot justify the price, yet. Pepakura 3.0 High Resolution looks promising but the hefty pricetag places this in the maybe one day box. ******************** Formerly Colonel_Klink |

Lately I've been looking for an inexpensive rendering program and this one just blew me away: http://www.3dpaintbrush.com/
Only $99 and no real learning curve whatsoever. Has a free demo that you can tinker with as well. Works for me. Terry |
