I have been making the mold for the 1/12 Apollo heat shield. It is almost done. i will then continue my experiments with this process. I was thinking of trying poyurethane this time instead of white glue. I have had success waterproofing models with it and it stiffins the paper nicely. So several layers should work out just don't know yet how the paper towel will respond to oil base rather than water to soften the fibers. I will keep you posted. When I am satisfied with the results I will post pictures.
