First Time Builder
Hello, I've been a lurker here for some time and have been receiving requests to 'come back.' I am actually trying my first ship build, a download of HMS Rodney by Louis R. Coatney in 1/1200 scale, waterline. I am using heavy paper and have sprayed both sides with Krylon Clear to stiffen it. I am building a solid interior to the hull from Foam Board and layers of card. So far, so good - Hull sides, bottom, Deck and interior are ready. Now the big question - What kind of glue(s) ?
I am in Canada so it will have to be a North American type/brand. |

Most of us use a white PVA glue, if you have it in house, and don't want to run to the store yet, use wood glue, a bit lower moisture content than Elmers or even Aleene's
