Ask to recieve

Dear Folks:
I just went in for minor surgery on a lump on shoulder, was just local, got talking about paper models. Doc gave me two Bard Parker #15 Protected Disposable Scalpel to try, Photos attached it has it's own blade protector that slides back and forth, and the other end with some slight sanding could be used for scoring. Straight out of the package I did not like the cutting ability it drug through the card stock after 5 minutes with my stone and strop it cuts well ( Note I am one who also strops a new # 11 blade before use). The one he stuck into my shoulder was a $300.00 Handle and changeable blades. I thinks that this blade and handle with 6" steel ruler would do for a minimal tool kit for travel.

Its cool that you got something from the Doctor.
All I ever get is criticism...and medicine that I have to pay for.

I tried a couple of Scalpels, with changeable blades, but I found them floppy.
They flexed too much for my liking.

Hope the surgery turned out okay.
