Inexpensive tall case
I have two models (Swiat siege tower and Shipyard 1:72 Alcatraz Island lighthouse) that have been collecting dust because I could not find a proper size case for them. Today I received from Amazon two 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 18" doll display cases manufactured by Darice. They were not expensive and not being acrylic a bit flimsy. Placement is important as they can be prone to reflect light, but they do the job that I require of them. Case (pun intended) solved.

I wish I could, but I'm, to the consternation of my friends, still in the 20th century. I hope to rectify this in the near future so as to display my latest buys to share with all of you.

MrConk,
Thanks for sharing. I too have been pondering the display issue. I have done extensive research (Pinterest searches) to find something I like; I'm still looking. Ikea has 6", 7", 9", and 10" bell jars that could work for tall, slender models. All under $15.00. |
