Did you watch the second video link I included in the original post?
Watch it all. Gives you a good idea of the glues consistency and flow in a number of different applications. It is repeated often to "use sparingly". If you apply too much its gonna soak into paper and cause inks to run. They do have a similar Plastic glue aswell as the Card glue. Using the applicator nozzles is the recommended method and this will help avoid splashes and accidents. I didn't see any purple in the videos? I'd really like to try it, but my problem is the cost (as usual). I'm a cheapskate and living on a tight budget. 2.49 for a large bottle of Aileens can't be beat. And its readily and locally available for me. (Michaels, Walmart, etc) I find it difficult to justify $21 for a glue that may not do anything special. or does it?

Hi,
Its been a while since I have posted here but I 'found' this glue a while back and have used it almost exclusively on my Dom Bumagi Borodino build and found it to be fantastic. It is really is quick drying and grabs instantly and after a few seconds holding it together it is strong enough to continue working on the same part. I haven't found any issues with distorting the paper or causing the ink to run but again I use very small quantities. I dispense a drop on to a business card and then apply it with a small paint brush. It is very runny and wicks into the brush fibres so have a quite a bit on it even with a small brush to apply. They say it will bond anything as long as one piece is paper or card and again it does work. I glued one end of tiny 0.5mm wide strips to 0.5mm brass rod, and after a leaving it to dry was able to wrap the strips round the rod without worrying about breaking the bond on the tiny glued end. Price is an issue for us in Australia also costing around 30 AUD but the small bottle does go a long way. I should be able to complete the Borodino build on a single bottle or near enough. My zip code is the problem. Anything that ships UPS or FedEx ground to Alaska has to go by air eventually. If they shipped USPS mail it would be the same price. I don't trust the shipping they quote, usually it is $20. more than that. I had shipper's on Amazon quote one price and then charge my card another, I won't buy unless it qualifies for free shipping from Amazon. I will look at the other ones to see if the shipping is actually free to Alaska. Thank you for mentioning the other sites. Mike |

yeah, I always look at trying to put together the minimum purchase amount
on amazon to earn the free shipping options....I think its $35 of eligible items? Unfortunately not everything has that option...everything I usually want doesn't have that option! lol

Just found it on Amazon UK at £4.65 (though one person is selling it at £38.00 A BOTTLE!!!!!). That's USD 6.13.
So if you are in the States see how much it is to order from UK Amazon. The postage may not be so much.

Just found this glue listed on ebay for around the same cost, with better shipping, an added bonus is you can get different "applicator" straws as well.
Will wait until I see some reviews before buying-still over half the cost will be for shipping. Mike |

I found a Canadian supplier...in PEI
So postage to me will still be the same. Final cost will be in the $20-$24 range. So, still too much for me.
