painting with alclad lacquer
hello all,
i am going crazy here trying to locate a thread where someone posted about painting with alclad. he mentioned using an automotive primer as base then painting with alclad chrome. he also posted couple of pictures. i just want to re-read the post and perhaps ask a question or two. thanks amit |

Any chance this is the thread?
How to paint paper models (Scroll down towards the bottom for the auto primer/Alclad discussion.) There is an individual by the name of "Antonio FP45" that posts on various model railroad forums, especially in discussions about modeling stainless steel finishes on HO scale passenger cars. If you're looking for tips specifically on the Alclad II finish, he's definitely worth looking up. Glenn
