Clamps

In paper model making, as in woodworking, you can never have too many clamps.

Doug - those are one of the ideal clamps to use by the way, as they put just the right amount of low pressure on!

Kevin, yeah, I know. They are great to use.

I have the ones with only one prong and the ones with the two prongs. The one pronged ones are great for applying clamping pressure at a specific spot. The two pronged ones are great for distributing clamping pressure along a wide area. I also have some long hair clamps good for reaching far away places that need clamping or for long areas that need clamping.

Here is a pic. Each of the squares is 1 cm.

I have a box of 80 of each of the small clips, some of them I have modified to where one of top arms lays flat on the bottom ones.

I have also been testing some of them to make pinch point clamps, and it would allow me to have part of the part being glued held by a clip where a flat laying clip or tweezers can't fit

Nice idea, thanks for the tip. clamps are vital in this hobby. I started out years ago flipping the clothespins then found larger ones and have been on a search for longer clamps to help with long rolls.
